Click to Enlarge Albino Snail.  This snail is also known as an Apple Snail, and are among the most colorful of the species.  These snails grow much better in water with a PH closer to 8.0, rather than a very low PH.  These snails require both a male and female snail to produce eggs, so there is less worry about having snails overrun an aquarium via reproduction.  The Albino Snail is a good eater and will eat fish food as well as fresh vegetables such as cucumber slices.  If keeping one of these snails, it needs to be fed, it will not do well if left to only eat what it can scavenge from the aquarium.  Tank mates for these snails should be peaceful fish such as Tetras, Platies, Danios, Corydoras Catfish, and Guppies.
